Vancouver Island View

Giving you ideas on the best ways to explore Vancouver Island.

Last spring, I started writing a Vancouver Island Travel Guide. The original plan was to create another ebook.

As I continued to write over the next few months, I started to realize that the guide was way too large for that type of thing (no one wants to read 250+ pages in a PDF - and I wasn't even done yet!).

So, I then started breaking it up into regions: South, Central and North Vancouver Island, but it was STILL too much information for an e-book. Apparently, I'm far too wordy.

Just last week, when I started to get back into the swing of things, I came across a travel app that allows you to write your own guides. It's called Thatch.

Thatch.co is a website connecting travellers with local experts and providing tools for travel creators to design travel guides and planning services.

The best part for travellers is that you can access the guides on the go using the Thatch App. Not to mention, their guides are so much more user-friendly than a PDF.

Using their platform, I jumped in with both feet and created my first two guides.

You can check it out here: Victoria Travel Guides by Kim Parcher. But don't just look at my guides - if you plan on travelling this year, you can find quality guides for almost every part of the world!

PS. You don't need the app, as it works the same on a desktop!
