Your Weekly Update 🗞️💎

Vancouver Island View

You may have noticed it’s been a little quiet around here lately. I had an unexpected health setback last week that knocked me off my feet for a bit.

Thankfully, I’m on the mend and feeling more like myself again — and I’m so happy to be easing back into the routines I love, including sharing new Island discoveries with you.

Before that little hiccup, we spent some time exploring the beautiful Cowichan Valley, and I’ve just published two new articles that I think you’ll enjoy.

First up is a complete refresh of my guide to Chemainus, a town that continues to charm me with every visit.

From seaside strolls and colourful murals to unique shops and delicious bites, Chemainus is the kind of place that invites you to slow down and stay awhile. I’ve added lots of new info, so even if you’ve read it before, it’s worth a revisit.

The second is April’s hidden gem — a peaceful park we stumbled upon while driving the backroads of the Cowichan Valley.

Thanks, as always, for your continued support, especially during the quieter weeks. Having this community of fellow Vancouver Island explorers means the world to me.

Exploring Chemainus

Chemainus may be best known for its murals, but there's so much more to this seaside town. From secret diving spots to artisan shops and ferry-accessible island adventures, this updated guide dives deeper into all the reasons to fall in love with this special place.

April Hidden Gem

This little-known spot is perfect for a quiet walk, a moment of reflection, or a picnic under the trees.

Wherever you decide to roam, have a great weekend!
